Well, I just had an absolutely wonderful weekend. I got to spend lots of time with family and enjoying the beautiful weather. I am so lucky and grateful for my many blessings. I not only got to spend time with my mom, but also enjoyed living the wonders of being a mom.
I have always been so grateful for my mom & all she has done for me, however this gratitude has grown exponentially since having my own children. Not only can I reflect on truly how much she loved us, her children, but I am now getting to experience all of the joys & heartbreaks that one feels as a mother. The joys of your children's smiles, giggles, words & personalities. The heartbreak from watching your children get hurt, having struggles, & experiencing disappointment. I truly love my mom for all that she has done for me, but also for every bit of love & attention she shines on my children. They are so lucky to have her as a grandma!!!
I hope that wherever all of you were this weekend, you were able to spend time, talk to, or just think about the ones you love & call Mother, Mommy, & Mom.
