I just love the new Sparkle & Shine paper - the colour & patterns are just so festive! Also, the Santa Claus stamp set works perfectly with it!
No Santa is complete without a little glitter. Do you see the sparkle on his hat! This is so easy to do! Just add liquid appliqué to your image, heat it with the craft heater, then sprinkle on prisma glitter. The glitter holds right on to the appliqué and NO glue is needed!
Products Used: Sparkle & Shine Paper Packet, Santa Claus stamp set, Black Ink Stamp Pad, Ruby Ink Stamp Pad, Red Shimmer Trim, Liquid Applique, Prisma Glitter, Craft Heater, & Make It From Your Heart Volume 2

Your next stop on the Cross Canada Hop is Janet of "Jan's Work of Heart".

I am so excited to announce a GREAT preview and sign-up promotion of a NEW, AMAZING product line that will be going live in February with the release of the Spring/Summer 2014 Idea book!

Love documenting memories in minutes? Then you’ll love the new Picture My Life™ scrapbooking program, meant for quick and beautiful memory-keeping.
This program comes in eight themes, all based on the gorgeous designs of some of our most popular paper packets. Whether you choose to embrace a single theme or mix and match for a truly unique look, you’ll love the ease, affordability, and beauty of the Picture My Life programs. Your own photos are all you need to add to make astounding artwork—in no time at all!
Each program has a theme, from childhood to friendship to travel, but because we have ensured sufficient variety in design and style of each you can easily apply the cards to other themes. Say you love the palette and designs of the Babycakes program but wish to apply a “family” theme—go ahead! It’s one of the unique differentiators and possibilities of the program! With a large quantity of product in each program you will be able to craft creative arrangements all your own.
Each program includes 122 double-sided cards plus 10 unique Memory Protectors™ to capture life as it happens, and their versatility and gorgeous designs will transform your albums into masterpieces. On one side of each card is space for journaling, and on the other you’ll find artistic sentiments and icons.
Each program is designed to accommodate approximately 100 photos in your included Memory Protectors, so with a balance of photos and cards, you’ll finish with about 20 remaining cards. That means you have plenty of choice and flexibility in which cards you choose to include, making it uniquely yours! Of course, you can easily use more or fewer photos in your project to suit your story’s needs.
Unique to Picture My Life is the included 12" × 12" double-sided cover page with each individual
program, using a beautiful My Reflections™ pattern.
True to Close To My Heart standards, the cover page offers a finished and cohesive look to your project with its featured high-quality design. The Picture My Life program is so versatile that you’ll find dozens of other ways to incorporate it into your papercrafting. Use the cards to expand other projects you’ve started! For example, if you just got back from the trip of a lifetime and wonder how you will capture all the details, mix the Picture My Life cards with your photos to extend your scrapbook pages. Choose your very favorite photos to scrapbook on 12" × 12" two-page layouts then use coordinating Picture My Life cards and your remaining photos to document the rest of your trip in minutes.
This program is yet another new, fresh addition and option for memory keepers to preserve their memories. The cards enhance the scrapbooking experience—making it even more fun—and they work brilliantly in mini albums, My Crush™ books, as journaling cards on your 12" × 12" classic scrapbook pages, or as gift cards and tags.

EVEN BETTER - GET IT FREE!!!!

When you join my team and the Close To My Heart family between November 1 and December 15 and a submit qualifying personal sales,* you'll receive a stunning new product, the Picture My Life™ scrapbooking program—FREE!
(**must submit minimum qualifying personal sales of $300 by March 31, 2014 - very easy to do.)

Well things have been crazy around here. I have been busy preparing 500 cards for my upcoming Christmas Card Workshop! Thank goodness for club; as it gives me motivation to use my creative juices for some non-festive creations. This month, we are using the For Always paper packet and it is absolutely beautiful and versatile. Each card has a different flair and technique that I will be able to teach my club girls. Check out my creations and let me know what you think!

This is my first time making a swing card using both the CTMH Cricut Artiste and the CTMH Cricut Art Philosophy cartridges! It was so very easy and there are many different options to choose from. In ruby ink, I used the Frame Flair and  the 4 My Friend stamp sets to personalize my card for a love one!

For the second card, I embellished it using the Sarita Textiles and the Base & Bling Teal Jewels to make these beautiful fabric flowers. They are so simple to do and give dimension to any project. My sentiment was stamped with birthday stamp set included in the Cricut Artiste Collection using black ink & the edges were sponged in lagoon ink
Steps to make flowers: 1. Cut 6 circles at about 1.5 inches. 2. Fold circles in half. 3. Fold half circles into 3 (like a S) and hot glue the corners of each S down!!! That simple

This final card just Sparkles & Shines with the use of Novembers Stamp of the Month, Illuminate (see a illustration of this set below). The Cricut Artiste cartridge was used to make this adorable honey rosette! I cut two of the images at 1 inch each; accordion folded them, and glued them together!!! An opaque licorice adhesive gem was used in the middle. (Inks used were black & honey).

Thanks so much for checking out my For Always cards. Please leave a comment, as I love feedback, and watch over the next few days for my layout using this great paper pack.

November's Stamp of the Month!

Sunday 3 November 2013
This month's club paper was Laughing Lola and I just love this paper packet. For each of my club groups, I offer the choice of layout, cards, or both. Check out the adorable cards here

Now for this layout, we opted not to do any stamping but decided to use the amazing Cricut Artbooking Cartridge. All of the picture frames, all of the embellishments and the title came from the cartridge. How great is that???

If you interested in joining club & making these great projects - let me know!! We'd love to scrap with you!
